Standards, Technical Regulations and Conformity Assessment Procedures
Under Chapter 6 of the AANZFTTA, Parties commit that standards, technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures are to be applied in such a manner so as not to create unnecessary barriers to trade.
AANZFTA seeks to facilitate trade in goods among its Parties by promoting mutual understanding and strengthening information exchange and cooperation in the preparation, adoption, and application of standards, technical regulations, and conformity assessment procedures.
